Qualitative Fit Testing
This service consists of two important components: the first - respirator use and care education for staff, and the second - qualitative fit testing. Education can be conducted either at the beginning of the fit testing session, to the entire group of participants, or prior to each fit test. If the former is chosen, approximately 12 QLFTs can be performed in a half day session (3-4 hours). This is based on a constant flow of staff, two at-a-time every 30 minutes.
