WHMIS Training Seminar (1/2 day)
Occupational diseases account for over half of all occupational fatalities in Ontario. Occupational disease and injury from chemicals can be prevented. Upon completion of this course participants will be able list chemical hazards that may be found in their workplace, describe the health hazards of these chemicals and explain how they may be identified and evaluated using the WHMIS system of labels and Material Safety Data Sheets.
WHMIS Train-the-Trainer (2 days)

Participants in this program will learn to teach individuals how to list the chemical hazards that may be found in their workplace, describe the health hazards of these chemicals and explain how they may be identified and evaluated using the WHMIS system of labels and Material Safety Data Sheets.
Implementing a WHMIS Program in Healthcare (1/2 day)
Designed to assist employers, managers and staff to create a safer working environment by enhancing their understanding of individual roles and responsibilities and the practices and procedures needed to implement the Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) regulation. The course will include the use of videos, exercises and activities to assist the participants with learning. By the end of the day, participants will have the knowledge to implement a successful WHMIS program at their organization.
