Occupational diseases account for over half of all occupational fatalities in Ontario.
Occupational disease and injury from chemicals can be prevented. Participants in this program will learn to teach individuals how to list the chemical hazards that may be found in their workplace, describe the health hazards of these chemicals and explain how they may be identified and evaluated using the WHMIS system of labels and Material Safety Data Sheets.
