Aeriel Device Awareness Seminar
Describe a basic hydraulic system including the protective devices for the equipment. Inspect the hydraulic system for hydraulic reservoir integrity. Identify and demonstrate vehicle stability. Identify personal protective equipment required. Perform a thorough vehicle inspection. Perform holding valve checks on outriggers and boom. Demonstrate raising and lowering the boom from the lower controls. Demonstrate proficiency of bucket operation, where applicable. Identify rescue techniques.
