In 2009, the Public Services Health and Safety Association (formerly OSACH) in partnership with St. Michaels Hospital developed a Workplace Violence Risk Assessment Tool (WVRAT) with funding from the MOHLTC. This tool is now available in paper version for use in acute care settings, to identify and assess risks associated with workplace violence and to select appropriate controls to manage these risks. PSHSA is pleased to offer a full day train the trainer session on-site at your facility, that you may learn how to use the tool and practice using it in one area of your facility.
