Municipal Chainsaw Operator - Advanced Training
This two and a half-day course is designed for municipal workers who are involved in the felling and limbing of trees as part of their regular work duties. The program consists of a one-day classroom/shop session and a one and a half-day practical session. Topics include personal protective equipment, sharpening and maintenance, notching and back-cutting, felling problem trees, and kickback. Participants will be evaluated on their practical skills and issued a wallet card upon successful completion. Maximum 6 participants per course.
